In 1998, the group has introduced the annual ICFG International Prize which is to be conferred upon young R&D workers of outstanding merit, who are authors of original R&D meeting the objectives of ICFG. Candidates for the award have to be nominated by an ICFG member, have to present their work at an ICFG Plenary Meeting and must not be older than 35 years within the year their paper is considered. Applicants for the ICFG International R&D Paper Prize can be individual young researchers or small groups of researchers in the case, where it is difficult or impossible to attribute the contribution to one single person. The Advisory Board holds full rights for setting up the detailed conditions and procedures for the call for nominations, evaluation by an international group of experts and final selection by the Advisory Board.
The guidelines for the International Paper Prize can be found on the following link: ICFG_PaperPrize_Guidelines_EN
